日本人の「個人商」化を果たすためには、最低でも簿記の知識ぐらいは小中学生のうちに身につけておきたい。学校教育に期待できないのなら、親世代の責任として教えるべきだろう。日本では、簿記は商学系の専門科目だと思われがちだ。しかしこのブログでは何度も何度も書いているが、簿記には500年以上の歴史があり、初等教育に組み込まれていた例は枚挙にいとまがない。「読み・書き・そろばん」というが、日本ではなぜか「そろばん」から簿記が抜け落ち、単なる算数だけになってしまった。
シマウマは草をはみ、ライオンは肉を食べ、ヒトはカネを稼いで生きている。
簿記を教わらない日本人は、狩りを教わらない獅子の子なのだ。飢えて当然だ。
